Why transport and logistics?
Almost everything in the economy depends on logistics, which makes it unusually resilient. Employers face a well-documented skills shortage, so apprentices are recruited actively and often promoted quickly.
Common questions
Do I need a driving licence?
For most warehouse, planning and coordination roles, no. Driving-specific apprenticeships have their own licence requirements, which the employer will explain.
Is it all physical work?
No. Alongside warehouse roles there's a lot of planning, scheduling and data work in supply chain and transport management.
