You will handle reception and reservations in a busy park environment, welcoming guests on arrival, providing information about park facilities, amenities, and activities, and supporting them throughout their stay. You manage check-in and check-out efficiently, respond promptly to inquiries and requests with clear information and practical solutions, and act as a knowledgeable contact by recommending local attractions, restaurants, and events. You maintain knowledge of the park’s accommodation options, amenities and recreational activities, and handle reservations in person, over the phone, and across multiple software booking systems. You listen to feedback and complaints with empathy and attention to detail, resolving issues to the guest’s satisfaction, and collaborate with accommodation and maintenance to coordinate services and ensure consistent delivery standards. You proactively identify opportunities to exceed guest expectations and create memorable moments, update guest records accurately in the reservation system, and uphold company values to promote a welcoming atmosphere for all guests and team members. You review online bookings and book guests onto activities, follow company procedures, guidance and training, and report health and safety matters to the Guest Services Supervisor/Manager, taking remedial action within your training. You comply with company policies regarding Fire, Health & Safety, COSHH, and Security.
Skills required
Computer literacy with good working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams; strong problem-solving abilities; excellent communication and interpersonal skills (face-to-face and over the telephone); empathy and attention to detail; ability to work under pressure; customer service orientation; teamwork; ability to manage reservations and operate multiple booking systems.

GCSEs in Math & English at grade C/4
Training you'll get
Company-provided training on procedures, safety, and booking systems. You will also attend Exeter College one day a week during term time working towards the Level 2 Administration Assistant apprenticeship.
Future prospects
Potential to receive a contract after apprenticeship; however, this depends on seasonal fluctuations and cannot be guaranteed.
