We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Marketing & Sales Apprentice to support our marketing and business development activities. This role is ideal for someone at the start of their career who is eager to learn digital marketing, social media management, and sales support within a professional, purpose-driven organisation.
You will help build our online presence, promote our services, and support sales activity while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 3:30pm

Main Responsibilities
Social Media & Marketing
Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling content across social media platforms including LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Facebook, and Instagram. Support the creation of engaging posts, graphics, short-form videos, and written content. Monitor social media channels, responding to messages and comments where appropriate and escalating enquiries when required. Track engagement, follower growth, and other basic performance metrics. Help maintain consistent branding and messaging across digital channels.
Sales & Business Development
Conduct outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn. Research potential clients and market opportunities. Support lead generation activities and sales campaigns. Assist with preparing proposals and presentations. Update and maintain CRM systems. Work closely with the sales and leadership teams.
Administration & Learning
Maintain organised records of marketing and sales activities. Support the administration of marketing campaigns. Participate fully in apprenticeship training, coursework, and assessments. Continuously develop digital marketing, communication, and professional skills.
Skills & Qualities
Essential
A genuine interest in social media, marketing, and sales. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Basic IT skills and confidence using digital platforms. A willingness to learn, accept feedback, and work collaboratively. Professional, reliable, and organised approach.
Desirable
Familiarity with major social media platforms. Basic understanding of marketing or sales principles. Creative skills such as copywriting, graphic design, or video editing. An interest in professional services or public sector organisations.
Apprenticeship Eligibility
Applicants must: Not already hold a Level 3 (or above) qualification in Social Media or Marketing. Meet the apprenticeship entry requirements, including English and maths assessments where applicable. Have the right to work in the UK and meet apprenticeship funding eligibility criteria.
