Are you looking to start a career in recruitment? We're looking for a motivated Recruitment Apprentice to join our busy recruitment team in Romford. This is a brilliant entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys talking to people, building relationships, and working towards targets — no previous recruitment experience required.

You'll work alongside experienced recruitment consultants, learning how to source, screen and place candidates, while studying towards a nationally recognised recruitment qualification.

Recruitment Apprentice Responsibilities

  1. Sourcing candidates via job boards, social media, referrals, headhunting and internal databases
  2. Writing, posting and updating job adverts, and monitoring candidate responses
  3. Building and managing relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process
  4. Providing administrative support to the wider recruitment team
  5. Working towards agreed KPIs and recruitment targets
  6. Identifying new business opportunities and progressing leads
  7. Building a pool of compliant, work-ready candidates
  8. Managing a busy daily workload and prioritising tasks effectively

Recruitment Apprentice Requirements

No experience in recruitment is necessary — full training and support provided. We're looking for someone with:

  1. Strong attention to detail
  2. Good organisational and time-management skills
  3. Excellent customer service and communication skills
  4. Logical thinking and problem-solving ability
  5. A non-judgemental, professional attitude
  6. Confidence speaking with people over the phone and face-to-face
