Radnage House Stables is a well-renowned yard in Bucks, home to a selection of horses from international competitors to foals and providing training, breeding services, rehabilitation, and livery. The apprenticeship is held with Tamsin, who has evented to 2* and now competes as a para dressage rider. As an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to gain extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with a variety of horses. Daily activities include feeding, turning out or bringing in horses, changing rugs, washing feed bowls, mucking out, and delivering excellent customer service. This role is ideal for a caring individual eager to start a career with horses and who enjoys working in a fun yet hard-working environment. A sense of humor is essential while you develop skills such as attention to detail, teamwork, initiative, patience, and physical fitness. You will work at a top class yard that has an excellent reputation for rehabilitating horses after injury. There are possibilities for progression to Level 3 Senior Groom and potential employment after completing the apprenticeship.
