This is an apprenticeship opportunity.


As a Customer Service Advisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, facilitating communication between the customer and Service Technicians to coordinate vehicle service appointments.


You will be responsible for various administrative and customer-facing tasks within the service department.


While responsibilities may vary depending on the employer and the size of the company, typical duties include:

  1. Understanding and addressing customer concerns, then coordinating with technicians
  2. Scheduling and booking vehicle service appointments
  3. Communicating with customers about any additional required work
  4. Providing estimates for repair times and costs
  5. Managing customer complaints and feedback
  6. Responding to customer inquiries and requests
  7. Monitoring the progress of vehicles in the workshop


As the apprenticeship progresses, candidates will be required to complete a final project focused on improving and developing business operations.


The successful candidate will work toward a Level 3 Customer Service Specialist qualification, completing the program remotely over a 15-month period.

Skills required

Friendly and professional communication skills, Customer-focused attitude, Basic IT and administrative skills, Willingness to learn and develop within a busy workshop environment, including developing technical knowledge of vehicles.

Qualifications required

GCSEs grades 9-4/A*-C or Functional Skills Level 2 in maths and English or equivalent. If you do not have the required grades your application will not be considered.

Training you'll get

The successful candidate will work towards a Level 3 Customer Service Specialist qualification on a remote basis over a 15-18 month period. Training is delivered by Robert Bosch Ltd via regular webinar sessions.
