Envance is an environmental and sustainability consultancy based in Stockport. We help organisations and businesses improve their environmental performance supporting the transition to a green economy.

Our services include: ecology surveys and assessment; environmental impact assessment; biodiversity net gain; natural capital accounting; environmental compliance; net zero and carbon reporting, and environmental and sustainability assessments.
We work locally and nationally across a broad range of sectors our clients include Greater Manchester Combined Authority, Salford Council, EKFB, the Environment Agency, Countryside Homes and the National Trust.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Administrative and clerical support to the team, including booking accommodation and hire cars, posting equipment. Tracking our pledge to net zero outputs throughout the year (electricity usage, mileage etc) and create a report.
  • Assist with financial tasks such as inputting expenses sheets and drafting customer invoices

  • Assistwith compliance for ISO (monitoring of completeness of health and safetydocuments, approved supplier registers and much more)

  • Ideally some previous experience in an office admin environment


Qualifications required

Essential:
  • GCSE5 and above in Maths and English
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Excellent communication skills

Desirable
  • A-Levels
  • Wordprocessing and spreadsheet competence

Future prospects

The role is currently for the length of the apprenticeship, but the directors are open to review this and make the position permanent depending on how the apprenticeship goes.
