About Company
CIL is a global growth strategy consultancy. We work with organisations on the decisions that shape growth, from value creation strategies to pricing, data and analytics.
Our approach is rigorous and practical, grounded in deep sub-sector knowledge and careful analysis. We dig into the detail, test assumptions and stress-test every recommendation against the realities of the market. That’s how we help organisations see what matters, think ahead, and set clear priorities that lead to confident decisions and strategies built to deliver results.
We have offices across Europe, the UK and US, and work across a wide range of sectors. Although we work in structured project teams, we are socially very equal, friendly and inclusive – our ‘culture’ is the product of our people. Our values of excellence, integrity, and supportiveness guide how we work, both with clients and each other.

Help maintain user accounts, groups and licensing across Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams).
Support day-to-day monitoring of our security tooling (Microsoft Defender for Endpoint), escalating anything unusual.

Maintain clear documentation — asset registers, runbooks and knowledge base articles.
Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, working closely with HR.
Build fluency with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Claude as part of your everyday work, in line with CIL’s wider commitment to embedding AI across every team.

Complete apprenticeship coursework and off-the-job training towards the Level 3 Information Communications Technician standard, with dedicated study time built into your working week.
Given the hands-on, mentoring-led nature of this apprenticeship, we'd expect you to be office-based full-time so you can learn directly from the team. This role is based in our London office, with occasional travel to our Frome office for team days.
Working for CIL
We have two offices in the UK – one in London and one in Frome, near Bath. Our London office is based in the heart of The City near Bank / St Pauls, and within easy commuting distance of most parts of London. Our Frome office is located in beautiful Somerset and offers the same great career experience but from a base in the countryside. We also have offices in the USA (Chicago & New York), France (Paris), and Germany (Munich).
Although we work in structured project teams, we are socially very equal, lively and inclusive. There are no corner offices, no cliques – we work in open-plan offices and are not political. We think ‘a culture’ is something other firms have to invent. Ours is the product of the people we employ.
