Country Farm Stud seeks a reliable and committed apprentice to become a Senior Groom in their established team. The successful candidate receives support to develop skills and launch a career in the equine sector. Duties involve all aspects of general horse care including mucking out, grooming, tacking up, riding, lunging, clipping, and traveling to shows with the employer as required. Applicants must achieve level 2 English and maths prior to completing the apprenticeship. Desirable qualifications include GCSEs in English and Maths (grade 4). Key skills include communication, attention to detail, organization, customer care, problem solving, analytical thinking, teamwork, initiative, non-judgmental attitudes, patience, and physical fitness. Accommodation is available on-site. This is a senior apprenticeship requiring established horse-handling experience. Upon completing the apprenticeship, there may be opportunities for permanent employment and advancement in breeding and stud work.
