As a Community Activator Coach Apprentice you will:

- Assist and coach at sessions run by ECiC

- Develop positive relationships participants at sessions

- Help plan and promote sessions and programmes withing ECiC

- Establish, maintain and develop effective partnership working with stakeholders including relevant external agencies and organisations

- Complete monitoring, evaluation and session recordings using internal and external systems.

- Attend all scheduled supervision, meetings and training events.

- Undertake professional development by participating in staff development (CPD) and training activities.

- Any other duties as reasonably requested by the line manager / organisation.

Alongside these responsibilities, you'll also be working towards your Community Activator Coach L2 qualification over the duration of 15 months.

Skills required

This is an apprenticeship programme, designed to help you gain skills and experience 'on the job.' We aren't looking for any previous coaching qualifications or experience but certain personal qualities and characteristics are a must (see below)Successful applicants will be assisting and delivering sport and physical activity sessions in the community. Your sessions may be the highlight of their week- so you will need to be reliable, enthusiastic, energetic and committed

Qualifications required

Missed out on getting your Maths and English GCSE's? Don't worry- you can still apply but you will need to complete Functional Skills Level 2 before you finish the apprenticeship. Our Learning Coaches can support you with this so don't let this put you off!
