Apprentice Nursery Practitioner at N Family Maida Vale rotates through nursery rooms and Forest School, gaining hands-on experience across all areas of our nurseries.
The Apprenticeship provides Early Years training and equips you with the skills, experience and qualification to progress into a qualified educator role within N Family Club.
The apprenticeship is offered at Level 2 Early Years Practitioner or Level 3 Early Years Educator depending on experience. From there you can develop your career at N Family Club, with potential to move into a managerial route or specialise in a focus area.
The role is full-time (40 hours per week, with 20% spent on learning).
Day to day you deliver:
- support the team in basic childcare routines;
- the delivery of our “learning through play” ethos;
- innovative activities and continual challenge of children’s learning and development;
- build and maintain excellent relationships with parents;
- promote child welfare and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed.
You work a flexible shift pattern within opening hours (7am-7pm).
Passionate and positive; reliable, hardworking and eager to learn; ability to build and maintain relationships with parents; teamwork; flexibility to work within 7am-7pm; ability to deliver learning through play; safeguarding awareness.
GCSEs preferred but not essential; Maths/English Grade A-C; must be 16 or over; not in full-time education.
Apprenticeship standard (Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years); regular one-to-one sessions with a dedicated trainer, either remotely or via workplace visits; training through N Academy; study for at least 20% of the apprenticeship; end point assessment (external).
Permanent position on successful apprenticeship completion; potential to progress to managerial route or a specialist area; opportunity to pursue an Early Years degree via N Academy.
