As an Animal Care Apprentice, you will work alongside an experienced team to support the day-to-day running of the kennels and cattery.
Duties will include:
- Providing general care for dogs and cats
- Feeding and ensuring fresh water is always available
- Exercising and walking dogs
- Cleaning and maintaining kennels and cattery areas to a high standard
- Monitoring the health and wellbeing of animals
- Assisting with basic grooming tasks
- Handling customer payments and cash transactions
- Supporting the team with the daily operation of the business
- Delivering excellent customer service to pet owners

Training you'll get
- All training done through Haddon Training onsite , we can also offer Maths and English Functional Skills for those who haven't got a grade 4 or equivalent at GCSE level.
