As an Early Years Apprentice, you'll gain practical experience while working alongside qualified childcare professionals. You will support the learning, development, and care of children in a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting children's learning and development through play-based activities
- Assisting with the planning and delivery of engaging activities
- Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Supporting children's personal, social, and emotional development
- Assisting with meal times, hygiene routines, and general care needs
- Observing and recording children's progress and achievements
- Following safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies and procedures
- Helping to maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming setting
