As an Early Years Apprentice, you'll gain practical experience while working alongside qualified childcare professionals. You will support the learning, development, and care of children in a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Supporting children's learning and development through play-based activities
  • Assisting with the planning and delivery of engaging activities
  • Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Supporting children's personal, social, and emotional development
  • Assisting with meal times, hygiene routines, and general care needs
  • Observing and recording children's progress and achievements
  • Following safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies and procedures
  • Helping to maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming setting
  • Working as part of a team to provide high-quality childcare and education
