Job Summary:

We are looking for a Production Apprentice to join our production team. The role will supporting daily manufacturing operations. This position involves a variety of tasks including assisting with machinery operation, material handling, quality control, and maintaining a clean and organized factory floor. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Support: Assist in the production process by setting up and operating machinery, handling raw materials, and ensuring the smooth operation of production lines.
  • Material Handling: Load and unload materials or products, ensure adequate stock levels, and assist with inventory management.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and monitor products during and after production to ensure they meet quality standards. Report any defects or issues to the production supervisor.
  • Machine Operation: Operate and maintain basic machinery and equipment, following safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.
  • Cleaning & Maintenance: Ensure the factory floor is kept clean and organized. Perform basic maintenance and cleaning tasks on equipment and work areas.
  • Packaging & Labelling: Assist in packaging finished products, labelling, and preparing shipments for distribution.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with production workers, supervisors, and other departments to ensure daily goals and targets are met.
  • Health & Safety: Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records related to production quality checks as required.

Requirements:
  • Basic knowledge of factory equipment and machinery.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot quality issues in products.
  • Good physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, standing, or walking for long periods.
