AWE: Nuclear Security Technologies
Kickstart your career and shape the future of national security
About AWE: Nuclear Security Technologies
AWE is home to a team of remarkable people, united by one extraordinary mission: keeping the United Kingdom safe and secure. For more than 75 years, the organisation has maintained the nation’s independent nuclear deterrent, protecting national security, supporting NATO allies, and safeguarding the British way of life. Today, AWE is delivering Astraea, the next generation warhead, while advancing the frontiers of nuclear science and technology.
AWE’s work extends far beyond deterrence, encompassing counter-terrorism, global nuclear test monitoring, and the development of a world-class community of nuclear science experts. Every project undertaken has a single aim: protecting lives and strengthening national security.
"The apprenticeship gives you a chance to take responsibility for your own development and explore different business functions before deciding upon the role you want to pursue permanently upon completion of your apprenticeship."
